Alexey Kharyutkin, the Deputy Director of the Contemporary Museum of Calligraphy, met wit Mr. Xie, Director of WangIPing brush factory in Huzhou, on August 25, during his business trip across China. Kharyutkin donated a gift from the Contemporary Museum of Calligraphy – an artwork named “Xi – the Mentor of China” made by renowned Russian calligrapher Yuri Koverdyaev, while Mr. Xie in his turn donated a set of gift brushes to the Museum. This set will become a part of the exhibit at the “Great Chinese Calligraphy and Painting” exhibition, scheduled between September 20 and 22, 2019. Mr. Xie also sent a special greeting for the exhibitors of the “Private Museums of Russia. Talents of Russia” exhibition.
