Alexey Shaburov, Director of the Contemporary Museum of Calligraphy, and Mr. Fan Dian, Chairman of the All-China Association of Writers and Artists, and head of the Central Academy of Fine Arts, met in the capital of China, where Shaburov shared his impressions of taking part in the 12th session of the Russian-Chinese Committee for Friendship, Peace, and Development, as well as of his meeting with Mr. Wang Qishan. He also gave an overview of the cultural projects the Contemporary Museum of Calligraphy has implemented this year, and shared his plans to open a museum of Chinese calligraphy and art in early 2020. Mr. Fan Dian highly appraised the Contemporary Museum of Calligraphy’s team activities, expressed his support and willingness to provide assistance in selecting and inviting the best Chinese artists to be featured in the future museum of Chinese calligraphy and art in Moscow. Alexey Shaburov donated the catalogue of the “Private Museums of Russia,” translated in Chinese, as well as the catalogue of the “Great Chinese Calligraphy and Painting.” Exhibition to Mr. Fan Dian, who in his turn donated the catalogue of top Chinese artists representing the Academy of art he leads.
